Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Featuring Cross-Platform Data Sharing and Multiplayer

Today, Nintendo released an Interview releasing some further insight on the connectivity between the Wii U and the 3DS for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. As known for a while, player saved data can be freely transferred between the Wii U and 3DS versions at will; however, this interview shows that both versions can play together locally, as demonstrated in the video.

It’s good to see that cross-platform play made it to this game. I think the last time I cross-platform played was Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: Echoes in Time. If you’re playing a Wii U, it’s even better for you, as you get the option of local and online play. Bonuses all around!

Two Monster hunter posts in a row. I need to make a note to try not to do this again :l
