E3 Recap – Ubisoft

E3 has certainly been a disappointment so far, and Ubisoft, despite being mostly shit, has promised a turnaround thanks to a few choice titles. In order, here are the featured games:

  • Rocksmith 2014
  • Splinter Cell: Blacklist
  • Rayman: Legends
  • The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot
  • South Park: The Stick Of Truth
  • The Crew
  • Watch Dogs
  • Just Dance 2014
  • Rabbids Invasion
  • Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
  • Trials Frontier/Fusion
  • Tom Clancey’s The Division

Nothing need be said for shittier titles such as Rabbids Invasion, but overall, Ubisoft had some good games. The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot looked like a very good Diablo-esque dungeon crawler with the nice social aspect of invading friends’ castles, and The Crew looked nice with its open world racing thing going on. Watch Dogs looked great as expected and Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag lacked the promised gameplay footage we expected. The real surprise this time was Tom Clancey’s The Division. With a interesting backstory and impressive gameplay, The Division certainly made a great first impression on me.

Overall, Ubisoft had a lot of shit, but a few titles to make their conference worth watching. Now if that announcer would just shut the fuck up for two seconds…

Probably the worst part of the presentation.

  1. The Division looks promising, like APB sans the vehicles with HD graphics. Im game s’long as its on PC.
